I once had a friend that was obsessed with always wanting to
be in charge. It seemed to me like she relished every opportunity to boss
people around ( As normal humans now, her acts became a little overbearing and
I condemned her.) I later realized after I came across the temperaments that I
was mistaken. She was only exhibiting the typical characteristics of the
choleric temperament.
Cholerics (forgive my personification) are basically ambitious and have leadership
traits. They are what I would call workaholics. They possess a lot of passion
and drive and are usually the drive and motivation amidst a group of people. A
choleric is that person we would all see as a control-freak. They are fuelled
with passion to do what they deem right and would stop at nothing to accomplish
their goals. They are known as the most extroverted personalties (someone who is outgoing sociable and
concerned with outside affairs)
Ladies be careful here, cholerics are not exactly your
typical dream guys or in the case of guys, choleric women are not good home
keepers. Though most cholerics are men. They are said to be the most
insensitive of the temperaments. The exude confidence and are naturally gifted
business men, strong willed, independent, self sufficient. They are highly
productive and thrive on opposition. They usually dominate people of other
temperaments
Though they are more likely to take care of you financial
wise. Since they are naturally gifted business men, they are more likely to be
rich. Tell me who would not like to be with a leader and probably become the
first lady, married to the president of the free-world.(just an instance …
don’t judge … keep reading). As they are mostly leaders it is only right that
they are decisive and like to correct wrongs. A nation with a leader that
cannot make sound, informed decisions is doomed( no names called).
Tips to know you are
a choleric
If you like to order people around, domineering and impatient
If you like to be the boss and leader at every half
opportunity
If you are good at math and engineering
If you don’t get distracted easily when you are into
something
If you are quick tempered, easily angered, unsympathetic and
insensitive
If you enjoy arguments.
If you are bent on success and are driven to succeed
If you are self confident and are quick to get yourself
heard in a group of people.
If you exhibit most of these characteristics…… then your
dominant temperament might be the choleric temperament
