Who has heard d’prince’s goody bag? Well if you have, you
should already have a cue to what I want to talk about today.
WHATS YOUR SELLING POINT?
A selling point is that characteristic that makes your
product appeal to prospective buyers, it is usually stressed in advertisement
and marketing. So what is your selling point? What is that thing that makes you
special? What is that extra thing that only you can do? Instead of getting
stressed about the things you don’t have. Don’t get stressed over how pretty
you would have loved to be, or how that girl gets the attention of all the boys
with her looks that you happen not to posses. Don’t be jealous or covet the
girl’s beauty…. She is stressing her own selling point!!!!
You should look for your selling point….. or develop one.
(yes you can develop a selling point). In the goodybag song by d’prince he
said and I quote “if na bacca u get u show” and bla bla bla….i want to state
clearly that I am not in support of all selling points!!! I am only in support
of the responsible selling points. The cool selling points…. The ones that you
can hold your head anywhere in the world … be it in religious gatherings or
secular occasions and flaunt.
If you know you have a nice smile…. Then smile all the time.
Smile so much that everyone will stop and say to you…. A lovely smile you got.
Everyone is created with Unique abilities…. Some are created with more than
others maybe. But even if it is one selling point you can pin point that you
possess. Display it so well that people with multiple selling points would
crave your one.
Now selling points are not all outward appearances… they also
consist of innate abilities. When some girls cook you can go for a hundredth taking.
If that is your selling point then show your selling point! Cook so well that
all the eligible bachelors in town will be after you. The pretty girls would
not even stand a chance against you.
If you possess a good dress sense…. Then always dress to
kill(I do not mean that literally of course... just dress cute
.
If you are witty like me then flaunt your wit and brains everywhere (lol ….
I am not trying to hype myself oooo… but I GAS TO KNOW MY SELLING POINT) I am
cute and witty amongst other things…. I am actually one of those guys with
multiple selling points , but then enough of me. There is time for plenty of me
in other posts!!
One touching Selling point tale is that of chinedu ikedieze
and osita iheme (popularly known as AKI and PAW PAW) from the play AKI na UKWA.
As they like to say, they are abbreviated
(LOL). But this did not stop them from showing us their selling points. They
could make us laugh and they showed us time and time again! They displayed
their selling points so well that their apparent disabilities had to bow and we all had to show respect.
So…… WHAT IS YOUR SELLING POINT???? Cos U GAS TO KNOW YOUR
