Aye - Davido (prod. Tspize)
I am not really a Davido fan, but this song has made me a believer. In fact, it has made me develop apparent lunatic traits. Once I insert my earpiece and play Aye, I start dancing and gesticulating like someone 'Aye' is doing (pun intended)
I love afrobeat and this is good afrobeat! Usually I get tired of songs after a few repeats, this song is not just one of them.
The video which was directed by Clarence peters is quite good. In fact very good. It possesses the usual Davido 'hysterical twist'. A peasant farm boy in person of Davido falls in love with the princess of his village and she loves him back, regardless of his humble origins.
I hear Aye is the sixth single off his unnamed sophomore album. I trust that more good music will come from O.B.O
