This song has been around for a while but I recently just listened to it and it touched me afresh. A song depicting pure and genuine love, something that seems to have escaped our world.
Would you let me see beneath beautiful? The message is clear, the outer beauty of everyone is a facade, we all try and give off a front of perfection but really that's not what is underneath because no one is perfect.
Another lesson I learnt from the song is that all these fine girls we guys swoon and die for are not really the epitome of the perfect babes they try to make us believe, they also have their flaws. Some of them have flaws so big that when you get to know them you fly away like you just came across your worst nightmare. The same goes for guys also.
If some of them make you see beyond their make up, you would be annoyed. Which reminds me, I have been seeing some annoying make up transformation pictures online. The make up deceit has now reached unfathomable heights, like my classmates would say... It is spiritual. When next I see one annoying one I might just post it up here
Some girls and guys have now taken their "show" to new heights such that you would hardly think that they fart or use the toilet, I remember I once used to believe one of my friends could not eat our indigenous foods like Eba Amala and the likes because of the way he carried himself like he only ate pizza and burger . I later discovered that not only did he eat Eba , he liked it.
In conclusion we are all people with flaws and ordinary habits, some of us like to dance, sing , crack jokes etc. Come down from your ivory tower and lets see beneath you facade, let's see beneath your beautiful.
