ALBUM REVIEW ( EYAN MAYWEATHER )
Undisputedly the most consistent act in the Nigerian music industry, Olamide a.k.a baddosneh  hit us today with his Fifth Studio Album in Five years . It is safe to declare that he delivered again. Like what most of his works usually depict, this is no different. He talks about the hustle. Eyan mayweather when translated means “ A Mayweather person”. We all know why he chose that Title . Mayweather is an undefeated champion in the boxing ring, and the YBNL boss is connecting to that as the undefeated champion in the rap ring.  We have about 17 new tunes and 4 already released tunes. It is self-evident that Olamide connects with everything and anything he comes across. The range, variety and depths of issues and occurrences depicted in his album shows he is a super attentive person which is an important feature of a creative mind.

Some people say he only raps in his traditional dialect, but we think that is Originality

Some people are referring to his consistency as noise making, well listen up on the album and decide whether you hear noise or creativity.

This Album is tight and below you can catch our thoughts on the different songs  as we try to predict the ones that will dominate our radios and speakers in the coming weeks

1 Eyan mayweather
This tune is well befitting to be the flag bearer of the album.  It has that illuminati track feeling from one of  Olamide’s  previous albums. It also gives off the ooze of Olamide’s struggle and connection with his past. It is a well-crafted tune and really is the kind of tune that made Olamide a hit. Expect a single review of this banger soon. It Will be a definite Airwave hit.

2 Inferiority Complex
A modest tune. It may not be the biggest track on the album but communicates a message. It tells us to try and worry less and leave our worries for God.

3 Don’t stop
Lovely dance Tune. Got us shaking our body in seconds

4 Where The man
This reminds you of a Patoranking verse, a phyno track and a sarkodie Rap at the same time. Lucent tune from the YBNL Boss

5 Igaara chicken
A modest track. May not be a major hit on airwaves but was a nice addition to the Album

6 Boom  Boom Boom
Olamide introduces us to his Rnb side with this track...  We expect it to be  an air-wave hit and blow like boom boom boom. We at Vexscheworld particularly took a liking to this track. It is Something unusual from Baddoo which we found very refreshing.

7 Ball
Another lucent  tune from baddosneh . A decent addition to the album.

8 Arara
Olamide’s consistency is too impressive . A brilliant addition to the album.

9 Say something
A scintillating tune . helps us to appreciate olamide’s brilliance. Reminds us of the olamide feature on Peppenazzi  titled  illegal.

10 Be happy.
A Decent tune, telling us that life is too short and we should stack money while we can and make sure you are happy while at it. We would like to add that while you stack money make others happy also .

11 Kana Finish
Has a funny ring to it. We believe this might be the comic relief track of the album. Brings a smile to your face.

12 I’m Ok
Olamide keeps showing us why he is the most consistent Artiste in the Nigerian industry. A decent tune

13 Matters Arising
Our first familiar song.  Olamide released this hit single and it had a good number of airplays on the airwaves. Brilliant tune.

14 Lagos Boys
Another familiar song.  Olamide was surely including this viral hit on his Fifth studio Album.’

15 Maama mi
Has a familiar beginning to YBNL smash signing Adekunle Gold’s Orente. A brilliant tune and an expected airwave hit. Has a brilliant message. Olamide sings praise of a mother in a similar style that made melo melo an airwave hit. Expect this tune to be banging in ceremonies soon

16 Melo Melo.
An already certified Hit. It already made a Vexscheworld Review.  Read here. Brilliant song in praise of a lover . A certified airwave hit

17 Sold Out
Olamide deals us a traditional tune . Kudos to the producer of this track .

18 BoBo
Massive tune from the YBNL boss with a subtle message. He advises BoBos to spend their money wisely and not just on the vanities of this world. One of the Oldies but still remains a classic. A Lovely addition to the album.

19 Toriomo
Brilliant tune. Immediately we heard it reminded us of melo melo. We figure this will be the blazing track for parents and their children in occasions now. The chorus is simply beautiful. We have another song with the makings of an airwave hit

20 Jega
A beautiful gangster track with a feel good ring to it.  On this track, (if you pay attention) you would appreciate olamide’s depth and creative prowess

21 OG Waheed
Olamide ended this album with what sounds like a sick Freestyle (Sick is used in a good context by the way) . Brilliant way to end this beauty . Sound quality is awesome.

we should note another thing spectacular
about this album. It was a lone project , no collaborations. Simply cray!!
