So
we all know how it is in Funaab, where majority of the students live off
campus. Many live very far away from school in locations like Obantoko, Osiele,
etc. While some move closer to school getting accommodation at camp. The
juiciest Off-campus accommodation is however located at a stone throw distance
away from the school’s gate which of course gave birth to the name of the area
…… GATE
However,
the pricing of accommodation at this location is relatively more expensive than
every other off campus residential area, usually because there is good/constant
light and its enviable proximity from the school campus. So you usually have
people crowded in rooms in this area. Sometimes you have as many as 5 to 6
residents in a single room, making themselves inconvenient all in the name of
living at Gate.
Such
is the case of room 24 Grace Hostel. The
Original occupants of the room are only 2 people, but because the juicy
attractions at the school gate had invited a host of their friend’s and friends
of friend. This series is the story of the funny times these boys spent
together.
This series is based on the true life
experiences of some students trying to struggle and hustle to stay and stay at
GATE .
Anyway, the story does not solely revolve
round the main hangout of these guys as the title would infer but also flashes
back to the time they met, their stay in the school hostel, all their levels
and various events funaabites can identify with etc…
Also, The accounts are written from my
point of view and should not be taken seriously because life is too short.
