You can be whatever you set out to
be,regardless of your physical disabilities. Cohbams Asuquo is a typical
example of this. Cohbams is a blind and extremely talented singer,songwriter
and music producer that was born in Jos,Nigeria. His works are being celebrated
all over the world and have as well earned him numerous awards. He has his own
record label known as Cobhams Asuquo Music Production (CAMP) but is also signed
on to Sony ATV,London. The funny and cheerful Cobhams is married to his
heartthrob,Ojuolape Veronica and the union is blessed with a baby boy.
THE REVIEW
From the title "Boosit" (the "falzical" term for
Bullshit) and the collaboration with Falz,it was not hard to tell that the song
was going to tread the path of humour.
However,in the midst of the humour important subject matters were
considered. The issue of dishonest political leaders was examined,this is
noticed in the line "climb up and shop money is your blueprint".
Domestic violence and rape are equally examined. Check out the lines in
the song that states "when you come through the door you say whazzup with
a punch......if I say no yo climb me by force then tomorrow morning you say the
devil was at work".
These are some societal ills that need to be corrected. The song is
4:37s long and is satirical in nature. The instrumental blends perfectly with the song,the vocal
strength of Cobhams as well as the flows of Falz makes the song on point. Well
done Cobhams and Falz!!
